50 Years of YCCA

This past Tuesday (10-26-10) evening was our 50th annual YCCA dinner. YCCA is so proud to be a part of this community and our original founding fathers are to be commended on the nobility of their purpose in forming this local organization. We render a service to the citizens and our communities, to ensure they hire reliable contractors and business members. YCCA is inspired to maintain high standards in the industry and be proactive in protecting you, the valued citizens against unlicensed and unscrupulous contractors. We are touched by your demonstration of confidence that so many of you have in our organization. It is a pleasure and honor to receive your phone calls and e-mails, asking for help, guidance and suggestions. I love the promise of YCCA, where we have been and how we have changed, and where tomorrow may lead us.

Through our 50 years as an organization, we have remained rock-solid in our representation of our membership and in helping to ensure protections and support for our contractors and you, the citizens and communities we all serve. We work diligently to strengthen the dialogue between our communities and our government because we know that clear communication and cooperative efforts can make great changes happen. We are honored to continue playing a key role in promoting a better, safer, more reliable industry for our citizens, the people who reply heavily on our local professionals to build and shape the wonderful communities of Yavapai County. Our work extends far beyond the world of contracting, for us the ultimate goal is to touch and enhance the lives of all those who share our good fortune to call Yavapai County “home.”
