We currently have removed a large area of indoor/outdoor carpet on our back patio.  Removal has left quite a bit of glue on the concrete.  How can this be removed?

There is a product at Big D in Prescott Valley (flooring supply store) called Sentinel Carpet Adhesive Removal this will strip off the glue adhesive.
