Y.C.C.A. 3rd Annual Golf Tournament
This
year's event was a morning of splendor, with nearly 50 golfers
battling the course for first place. Bradshaw Mountain High School
students along with their coach, Roberta Sterling, took First
Place, with much excitement!
The
Y.C.C.A. presented our donation to the Habitat Vocational Projects,
which is the vocation project between Y.C.C.A., Prescott Area
Habitat for Humanity and Bradshaw Mountain High School.
Bradshaw Mountain High School, through their new construction
technology class, will construct a habitat home at the Robert
Road location. The construction project will done during the 1997-1998
school year with the chosen family taking occupancy next spring.
A ground-breaking ceremony will be held at the site this month.
The donation was funded by proceeds from Y.C.C.A.'s Annual Home
and Garden Show and the Annual Golf Tournament.

A whopping $8,500 raised between the Annual Home & Garden Show
& Golf Tournament for Prescott Habitat for Humanity.

Y.C.C.A. members and other contributing community members. This
project creates an opportunity for vocational skills, learning
team work and provides houses for low income people who might
never have any other avenue to become a homeowner. Everyone benefits!
